Some tree removals call for the highest level of professional skill. We are proud to offer peak industry capabilities at Easy Eddy's Tree Service. Over the past 10 years, we have committed ourselves to taking on even large or dangerous tree jobs, including when trees have fallen and damaged homes and automobiles. Your safety is our priority, and we intelligently commit ourselves to every critical decision in the cutting, rigging, and removal of large trunks and limbs. We have removed trees of every size and are equipped to cut a tree with a trunk diameter of 9 feet. Open spaces make large trees easier to work on, but bad locations are our specialty- we have small equipment for poor access areas and we are experts at climbing in large back yard removals that cannot fit heavy machinery.
Trees with easy access can be dismantled easily using a bucket truck. Our Lift-All load handler utility truck reaches 60 feet in the air and is able to lift and carry 1000lbs safely. We use this capability to raise up limbs that are too close to structures and utilities, and set them down in an open landing zone where they can be processed and removed.
When a tree has no access for trucks and equipment, the best option can be climbing. This is an approved method in modern tree service which requires athleticism and many years of experience to perform at this level. We climb trees of any size, and use heavy duty rigging equipment rated for weights up to 22,000lbs if needed, to control the cutting process and protect homes, fences, and other structures. We estimate the weight of the limbs we are cutting, and match that to the strength of the tie in points and hardware we are using, as well as using strategic placement of pulleys to reduce strain on the supporting limbs.
Machinery is not everything, but when you are properly equipped the job is easy to finish in a reasonable period of time. When I first started this company in 2017, I moved every log and limb by hand to stack them on a trailer or pickup bed. Now, we feed huge limbs into the brush chipper using our mini track loader or articulated wheel loader, and sometimes whole trees can go into the brush chipper!
Our high capacity chipper truck has the room to carry all the processed limbs of even the most mature cottonwood or silver maple tree in only one or two loads. When we are onsite working at your property, you will see large branches and limbs up to 15 inches in diameter eaten up by our powerful Bandit 255xp brush chipper.
We keep our track and wheel loaders in good working order to perform the majority of the heavy work moving and loading wood and logs from the jobsites. Since we have multiple heavy duty Bobcat machines, we are able to remove large tree trunks and logs in a short period of time with minimal chainsaw time.
When a customer has a large tree trunk with a diameter of more than 4 feet, we will use the Husqvarna 3120xp, which has a 60 inch bar mounted on it year round and is capable of cutting notches and felling even trees that are 9 feet in diameter. The bar alone costs $600! We invest in these capabilities so that our customers can rely on us to provide premium and capable service.
The grinder pictured here is powered by a 65 horsepower Wisconsin 465 and can reduce a 36" stump to a pile of mulch chips in 15 minutes. If you are needing the large stump of your tree removed after the tree has been taken out, we are able to offer that service at a reasonable rate.
Logs are loaded into the back of a truck like this one normally, or a dump trailer, and will be hauled off and dumped at a local property, normally where the owner has requested to be listed as a dump site for wood and logs. Many of these people use firewood to heat their homes and are delighted to receive large loads of logs throughout the year.
When there is maintenance taking place on the log truck, or the tree removal is very big, then we will use the chipper truck to help haul away the logs. As you can see, there is plenty of room for most tree trunks in the back of this heavy duty International 4700.
